Voce is Italian for voice.
The name comes from 1 Kings 19. Elijah is told to wait on the mountain for the Lord to pass by. First comes a wind strong enough to break the rocks. Then an earthquake. Then fire. God isn't in any of them.
What comes last is a low whisper. That's where Elijah recognizes Him, in the quiet.
I know that's a lot to put on a travel company. But travel has always been one of the ways I step out of the noise of everyday life and refocus on the people, places, and things that matter.
That's what I want Voce to create: trips with enough thought behind them that you can stop thinking about the trip altogether.
I'm Kyle Regitz. Houston-based, Texas A&M class of '17, married to a wedding planner, and dad to three adventurous kids.
My first international trip was to Paris shortly after getting married, and I've been planning trips ever since. It started as a hobby, finding the best way to use a pile of credit card points, then building a trip around it. Somewhere along the way, I became the person my friends called before they booked anything.
My day job gave me the rest. Years of coordinating complex projects, evaluating value, managing moving pieces, and thinking several steps ahead taught me how to make complicated things feel simple. Those skills translate remarkably well to travel.
It's the details that I enjoy most. Not just where you're going, but how you'll get there. The connection that saves you an hour. The right driver waiting when you land. Knowing when to schedule a full day and when to leave the afternoon open. The little things that can turn a great trip into an effortless one.
My own ideal trip is actually pretty simple: a home by the beach or in the mountains, slow mornings with coffee, good food, time outside, and nowhere we need to be. That's probably why I believe the best itineraries aren't the ones that fill every hour. They're the ones that give you more time to enjoy where you are.
